Aver Heino is the experimental farm for organic dairy farming in the Netherlands. Approximately 150 cows, 90 young animals and about 100 hectares of land (sandy soil) are available for research, demonstrations and education. Aver Heino is located on a former estate near Heino (Salland region). Researchers and farmers work together on innovations for vital, sustainable dairy farming in a valuable rural region. |
